TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE!

 

 

 

 

When is the technology upgrade happening? 

Monday, October 16th, 2023

 

What IS changing?

  • A new online and mobile banking format
    • Turn debit cards on and off through online banking and the mobile banking app.
    • Zelle- A fast and easy way to send and receive money, even with different banks.
    • More alerts and additional security options
    • Have one login username and password that are for both the website and app.
    • FNB is discontinuing the Pic Pay feature but will still have the Bill Pay feature.
  • Debit Cards
    • New debit cards will start being mailed out September 25th. Do not throw the new card away, keep it in a safe place until October 16th.
      • These cards will be new card numbers and new PIN’s.
      • You will want to set a PIN when you call to activate the new card.
    • Switching from Visa to Master Card.
    • Contactless/ tap to pay feature.
    • User-friendly card management features.
    • Mobile wallet (Google Pay & Apple Pay).

 

What IS NOT changing?

  • Bank account numbers
  • Bank routing number
  • Account balances
  • Loan rates and payment due dates

 

What do you need to do?

To Do BEFORE Monday, October 16th:

  • Watch your mail for your new card.
    • New cards will begin being mailed out to you September 25th. You can activate the card when you would like. However, the new cards will not work until October 16th at 2AM. You need to keep the card in a safe place until it is time to activate it and use it on October 16th.
  • Take notes of any automatic payments on your current debit card to set up on your new card.
    • Any payments set up on your current card will not be processed on or after October 16th.
  • Take notes of any bills on online banking’s bill pay.
    • Any payments set up on your current bill pay on the current online banking will not be processed on or after October 1st.
  • Save bank statements currently in online banking.
    • Previous statements will not be accessible immediately.
  • Pull in QuickBooks transactions, if used.
    • Previous transactions will not be accessible immediately.

To Do ON Monday, October 16th:

  • Activate new debit cards and set a new PIN, if you have not already.
    • Old debit cards will no longer work beginning October 16th 
    • New debit cards will not be able to be used until October 16th.
  • Set up any previous automatic payments on previous debit cards to new debit cards.
  • Re-enroll in online banking.
  • Re-download the new app.
    • The app in the app store is going to look the same and still be “The First National Bank of Le Center”. But the new app will need to be downloaded.
    • The login information you create on the website will be the same on the app and vice versa.
    • The existing mobile app will no longer work beginning October 13th. 
  • Re-enter bill pays on online banking or the mobile app.
